A little bit of Leeds’ legendary North Bar in the suburb of Oakwood. A hop, skip, and a jump from the gorgeous Roundhay Park, Preston is the perfect spot for visitors, families, and the discerning drinker.
Preston boasts a rotating tap list from North and friends, perfectly conditioned cask ales, and hot coffee roasted in West Yorkshire by Darkwoods.

Wheelchair access
Preston has step free access and is all on one level. The front door is 88cm wide, and there is an accessible toilet.
Anti-discrimination
All North venues are diverse, inclusive, accepting safe spaces. We welcome all races, genders, ages and sexual orientations. At Preston our toilets are gender neutral.
Seating
The majority of our chairs in Preston have a back, and are at a low level. Preston is a cosy bar, so the tables are close together. Some tables have backless stools.
Service / menus
We always offer table service at Preston, both inside and outside.
Our draught menu is displayed on a chalk board to the right of the bar. Wine and cocktail menus are printed on the tables. We do not have digital menus at Preston.
Our friendly team will be happy to assist if you need any help reading the printed menus, or want advice on the products available. We are happy to provide tasters of any of the drinks on tap.
Lighting / sound
Preston has large windows meaning that it is a bright, airy space during the daytimes and summer months. In the evening we dim the light and light the candles.
The music at Preston is always played a volume where you can comfortably have a conversation with your table.
Preston is busiest in the evenings, and gets lots of walkers visiting Roundhay Park on weekend afternoons. Weekday afternoons are quieter in Preston, and perfect for a peaceful pint with a book!

Well behaved children are very welcome at Preston. We have baby changing facilities, colouring sheets and a range of soft drinks available. We’re a cosy, neighbourhood bar so there may not always be room for prams on a weekend!
We ask that all under 18s leave the premises by 9pm.
