How did you come to work for North?
Every time I visited Leeds I would also go to North Bar. I loved the beer, the people, the ambience and thought this would be a cool company to work for. After moving to Leeds, I kept an eye out for any North roles and once I saw the role being advertised, I jumped at the chance.
What was your first memorable beer experience?
For mine and my partners’ first Valentines we took a trip to Cantillon for a tour and spent the whole day tasting loads of Lambic. One bottle we loved was Nath, so much so that every year we buy that year’s vintage and always have a bottle of it on Valentine’s Day to celebrate.
What have you been listening to lately?
My most listened to artists at the moment include: Volbeat and Clutch. A bit of a guilty pleasure though is 80s pop.
Where is your fave spot for a drink?
Ohh there are a lot to chose from; I love finding different bars wherever I go. If I had to choose, I would probably say Lyaness, a cocktail bar on the South Bank in London. They do lovely cocktails, and it is fabulous at New Year watching the fireworks
