It’s that time again where were awarding our North Star! Voted by our teams across the bars and the brewery, the North Star shines for those who have been exceptionally brilliant!
This month the award goes to MATT!
Matt has won the title of North Star thanks to his brilliant support for North Bar Social and helping build a great team! He only seems to do good, is effortlessly positive and full of infectious enthusiasm! Keeping his ear to the ground in Otley, Matt is helping keep his bar and its team an integral part of the local community. “Just an all round legend of the company.”
On top of all of these, he’ll soon be shaving off his beautiful and luscious locks in order to raise money for St. George’s Crypt!
Starting off with a target of £500, Matt smashed this and promised to shave off his beard as well if he hit over £1,000. Thanks to the kind donations of everyone who sponsored him, Matt raised a whopping £2,617 for the amazing work that St. George’s Crypt do every day to support the homeless, vulnerable and those suffering from addiction in Leeds. What a hero!
Thanks for the nomination everyone! It’s so refreshing to work alongside people and a company that share the same values as myself. It’s summer now and the beer garden at Social is nice and warm, so let’s all have a pint there and enjoy the sunshine! Cheers!
