North is coming to Manchester
Work is underway on our first taproom in Manchester.
We are very, very excited to announce that work has started on our first taproom in Manchester.
A bar in Manchester has been a long time coming. We’ve pretty much spent 25 years wanting to open there, and come very close on a number of occasions!
Our new taproom will open at Circle Square, a new development on the site of the former BBC building, minutes walk from Oxford Road station.
We will be bringing our friends at Little Bao Boy with us. We have worked with Little Bao Boy since their early days steaming bao in a gazebo at the brewery. They now operate three permanent street food kitchens in our venues, and have built up an incredible following in Leeds.
The menu will include favourites such as the KFB (chicken thigh marinated in gochujang buttermilk and dredged in Little Bao Boy garlic flour mix, fried and topped with iceberg lettuce, sriracha mayo and sesame seeds), and vegan-friendly Crispy Tofu (tofu deep fried in togarashi mix, topped with cucumber, hoisin, sriracha mayo, spring onion and toasted sesame seeds).
The taproom will have 24 draught lines, including 18 lines of keg beer (and 1 cask), pouring North’s ever-evolving range of core beers, specials and collabs. The North team love working with friends, so guests can expect an wide-ranging array of guest breweries on the Manchester taproom line-up. Over the past seven years the team have worked with a stellar roster of Manchester breweries including Cloudwater, Track, and Pomona Island.
We are currently hiring – anyone interested in joining the team can find out more at www.northbrewing.com/working-at-north.
To stay up to date with opening details and to enjoy a pint on the team at launch, Manchester residents are invited to sign up to our newsletter at https://www.northbrewing.com/venue/north-taproom-circle-square/
