Here at North we are keen supporters of all things to do with cycling. We hold a monthly Social Commute ride from Skipton to Leeds, host the Paria Paperboy ride every year, we hosted UCI for the 2019 Road World Championship over at North Bar Harrogate and, back in mid September, we were proud to sponsor True Cycling‘s Yorkshire Mashin’!

Yorkshire Mashin’ has been an idea in the making from True Cycling that had it’s debut on the weekend of the 14th September, taking a trip across Yorkshire. The group met at The Commute, in Ilkley, and set off on a route over to Filey.

The journey out to the beach was just over 170km, but the thought of a BBQ and North beers at the end was enough to keep them motivated.

As the sun set over the laping waves, the group of cyclists headed to their tents, for some much needed rest before the return journey.

After the success of the trip, and a thoroughly good time had by all, True Cycling will be looking to organise Yorkshire Mashin’ as a yearly event! If you’re interested in taking part why not keep an eye on their website to see when the next ride will be?
