A lovely Yorkshire day for Sesh fest 2019 at our good friends Magic Rock Brewing. The rain may have poured (oh how it poured!) But that didn’t put off the hardened folks in Huddersfield who were certainly up for a big old Sesh.

Given its success in 2018, it was great to be invited back to pour for the second installment in this magnificent tap room in which Magic Rock call home. Despite having a number of excellent festivals, we feel the UK is still short of brewery-led festivals, organised by brewers for brewers and drinkers alike. The unique and relaxed vibe as well the chance to showcase the best session beers, with all beer poured being 4.5% abv and under is what makes this festival so special and unique.

As ever, everyone at Magic rock was so hospitable and simply ace! The beers were flowing and the food was plentiful. Particular highlights included the mighty half time Dabbawalla curry and mario kart tournament that saw us through until the end (alongside plenty of Dancing Bier and Cannonball too.)

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAShout out to our neighbours Marble and Northern Monk for keeping us company and glasses full alongside many other great beers sampled. However, a special shout out goes to everyone who drank every last drop of our beer we brought over on the short journey from Leeds! The TFG was first to kick, quickly followed by Little Bao Boy Session IPA. It is always great to hear your opinions and humbling to sell out at both sessions.

A huge thank you to our brewer friends as well as the Magic Rock staff and volunteers for making this festival such a pleasure to attend. See you next year for more of the same please!
