This month some of the guys in the brewery are baring some dodgy facial hair and sharing experiences and resources in order to inform readers and raise money for Movember.
Today Dennis tells us about why he’s growing out his moustache and where he finds peace of mind.

Why have you jumped into Movember this year?
One day the boys in the brewery suggested spending a whole month just growing a moustache. Thought it was just for fun and I said yes straight away. Later I found out about Movember and that just made it even better. This is a great cause and I’m more than happy if I can help
What’s your self-care activity of choice?
I find cycling and mountain biking more specifically to be one of the best things I can do to cheer me up. Good exercise, beautiful landscapes and I get to spend time with friends. Dreamy! I also love cooking. Making a good healthy meal really makes me feel better. Finally, I spend quite a lot of time looking for new music. Finding new stuff to listen to has to be one of the best feelings.
Why is mental health important to you?
Mental health is important to me cause I think we all go through phases in our lives. There have been times where I was struggling and I felt like I could use some help. In my opinion, talking about what bothers you with your friends and family is one of your best options.
Do you have any books, films, websites or resources that you’d like to shout out?
I read a book called “How to stop worrying and start living your life” that really talked to me. It’s like a compilation of true stories from people who were struggling from too much stress and how they dealt with it. I always prefer movies or books that are based on true stories.
A final word from Dennis:
Sometimes things may not look great. It’s up to us to find ways to deal with them. I believe that calmness brings clarity and better results. Having good people who are willing to listen around is also important.
Thank you for reading. Take care and stay safe.
