In January we invited Bates + Miranda from Duration up to Leeds to brew a West Coast DIPA.

Duration is nestled in ancient woodlands midway along the Nar Valley Pilgrim Trail. In the ruins of an old priory and by the banks of a chalk river, with seasonal camping and a variety of accommodation close by. Miranda and Bates are restoring the building to its former glory, while building a destination brewhouse.

They hung up their project manager hats for the day and hopped on the train up to Leeds to join us at the brewery.

We brewed an old school West Coast DIPA with OGs Simcoe, Centennial and Colombus and aimed for a whole host of piney bitterness and throwback fruit flavours.

It’s like drinking a DIPA 5 years ago. And we’re really enjoying it.

We’re launching the beer over Craft Beer Rising weekend with our friends at Mother Kellys with a joint tap takeover. See you there for a few beers!

The beer will be launching in Leeds at the brewery on Friday 22nd February at 4pm. It will then be available online and from your favourite bars and bottle shops the following week.
