Earlier this year we got in touch with In Good Company to buy some of their #postersforthepeople to display in the windows of our bars during lockdown. The conversation escalated and we were offered the chance to brew a Session IPA, packaged in a can featuring Morag Myerscough’s Superheroes artwork to support the project.

Maniac films found us on social media and asked if they could create a short documentary about the project. The film, directed by Ben Brown, is currently being submitted to film festivals and we can’t wait for you all to see it! This trailer offers a taste of the finished doc – to say we’re excited about this is an understatement. It’s such an honour to have been part of such a colourful project and meet so many creative people in Leeds.

The past six months have been the toughest in our lifetimes, but the creativity shown across the UK has been fantastic. Communities pulled together, grass roots organisations sprung up and we all paused to say thank you to those working to keep us safe.

The #postersforthepeople project has raised over £14,000 for charity and it’s still going strong! Banners for your gardens and posters for you walls are available from We Are FYI, the Folklore Distillery X In Good Company gin is in stock on our webshop (click here to buy some) and In Good Company have lots more art planned for Leeds!
