North Bar are turning 25 and we’re planning a weekend of events to celebrate!
Often referred to as ‘the first craft beer bar in the UK’, North have been proud to help launch some world famous breweries. In the early 2000s we were introduced to a new brewery hitting these shores, and asked to trial a keg of Brooklyn Lager on our taps.
We are proud to welcome the team at Brooklyn Brewery back to North Bar to help us celebrate in style.
Garrett Oliver is heading to Leeds from NYC to introduce you to a range of rare beers from Brooklyn’s cellars – we’ve just seen the list and can’t quite believe what they’ve pulled together for us!
Garrett will be running a tutored tasting at North, chatting about the journey of Brooklyn Brewery since their first pour at North Bar all those years ago.
The tasting kicks off at 1pm and will last for around one hour. You are, of course, very welcome to stay and chat with the teams from Brooklyn and North after the event and try some of the incredible tap line up that we have curated for the weekend long celebration.
How much are tickets?
