Once a month we are joined by the Feminist Book Club at Further North, to discuss their latest reads, challenging the mind, inclusive and all are welcome.
They’ll be meeting upstairs in our cosy Chapel Allerton bar to discuss ‘Permafrost’, by Eva Baltasar. A Spanish poet and writer, who wrote Permafrost as her first novel in 2018.
Full of powerful, physical imagery, this prize-winning debut novel was a word-of-mouth hit in its own language. A first-hand-account of an uninhibited lesbian, who is a wickedly funny observer, desperate to get out of Barcelona.
